Wynteryne and My Story~

Wynteryne had joined our family for quite a period of time already~ That's like almost 4 months.  She's now turning 7 months by end of April. That's so fast.  But she doesnt know how to use pc yet so I'll help to blog on her behalf.

Something quite bad happened during the CNY period.  She broke her foreleg on the first day of Lunar New Year and it's a Valentine's Day too. Both bones were broken, so Mummy's leave were all cleared to take care of her.  She stayed home with us the whole time.  It must be a torture for her....Mummy was thinking where to bring us, but ended up we have no choice but to hurry to the 24/7 animal hospital to help Mummy with Wynter.  

Mummy had to hold her coz Wynter was fidgeting too much and whining loud in the middle of the night.  She slept well in Mummy's arms but Mummy's back was hurting due to being too stiff.  Wynter had her surgery the next day and can head home the following day.  She's back, recovering from the anesthetic but she's back to hyper self.  Therefore Mummy had to restrict her movements alot.  The vet mentioned that she wont poo for up to the next 5 days, it's normal. but she did help herself to the pee tray and POO.... So we all can see that she can recover real fast.  Way to go Girl!  She had to wear the Cone of Shame to stop her from licking and nibbling but she's still act as per normal.  I got so grumpy for wearing it.... I didnt drink or eat or even Pee & Poo.  But she's now almost fully recovered... running as per normal and stuffs.  2 months after the incident.  It was estimated that it will take about 3 months for full recovery but seems like it's much faster than expected; which is good.

She now looks like a lady but in fact she's very tom-boyish.  She loves to play alot, and I (as an old uncle) will keep her company.  She is really active which keeps her slender, I think I should boost up too and try all my best to cut down on my weight. She is still as mischievous as before, she will start her cheekiness once Mummy's back is facing her but at least she knows that Mummy's the boss. (Mummy: I feel that she treats Snow like the main alpha and I'm the alternative)  She loves attention and likes to snuggle between Daddy and Mummy.  She loves to join me when I'm chewing on rawhides and sometimes, being cheeky, she will try to snatch from me, but I will just~~~~ GrrrRRrrrrrr~ That's MINE! Go get yourself another one, there's just one over there.  *Evil smile* But she simply doesnt give up.  Mummy took a video of it once.  See if she is free to help to upload.

This morning, she joined Daddy and Mummy in between on the bed, licking the fingers, seems like trying to wake them up.  For me, as usual, will wait for them to wake up.  Wynter's learning to do so too but she simply love snuggles. Mummy took some photos for us and will add in once it's ready. Woof~
