FEATURES:

HOW WHITE ON WHITE WORKS

When dealing with white hair the only way to completely remove discoloration is usually bleach, but since bleach and/or peroxide damages the canines coat permanently (or should we say until it falls out) we do not want to be bleaching. Instead we are going to the other end of the color spectrum and depositing pigment, drabbing yellow. What we are drabbing yellow with is 37 different color pigments and due to White On White's molecular structure being so tinny, we are able to remove discoloration under the cuticle lens and deposit pigment in one application without opening the cuticle lens through bleach, but depositing through the cracks and crevices. Example: The diminutive molecular structure of all of Chris Christensen Systems treatments are like White On White being the golf ball versus a basketball, the molecular structure of Chris Christensen systems treatments are so tiny that they can go under the cuticle lens and clean and deposit pigment without the use of harsh chemicals like bleach and peroxide. This cannot be used on a weekly basis. Recommended to be at least a month gap in between each use. As somehow it still does "bleach" the coat, therefore it's quite drying. Mummy didnt know but juz wanna me to stay white, she used it on me almost on a weekly basis, and my coat was really dry and I was turning purplish due to the colouring of the shampoo. But after that, it was used every 1 - 3 months during my bath. It keeps me white and not drying for my coat.

This is a good product which maintains my coat, and it smells good. It works just like human's hair serum. It can be applied on weekly basis or even daily, but it's not recommended for fluffy one as it will flatten due to the oil. Normally it's being used on me when after bath, just about to go out for events. It also can enhance the growth of fur which you would like to have. Such as my shaved down to skin's wound, as now it's fully healed, and it's bald, therefore Mummy instructed Grandma to apply on me (whole body) and my coat's really growing fast. Woof~ I'm be all fluff up again when you're back. Keke.... One bottle - 8 oz can last really long if used on weekly basis for a dog. My Mummy's first bottle even lasted for 3 years plus. LOL....

CCS - Trial/Travel Pack

Not sure if you will like the product, you can always buy the smaller bottles as pictured above. It's like a trial pack or a travel pack.

Mummy tried the Ice on Ice on me, but seldom use therefore not really sure on the effect.

Have you been wondering what is rawhide? What are the ingredients? My Mummy found this website while searching for the information about rawhide and would like to share it.

What is Rawhide?

Rawhide is the inner layer of the hide of any cleft-hoofed bovine livestock. Beef-Hide is premium rawhide made from cows raised for consumption. American Beef-Hide is derived from corn-fed cows within U.S. borders.

What is Rawhide made from?

The animal's skin is split into inner and outer layers. The tough outer layer is used for leather shoes, garments, and upholstery, while the softer inner layer is cut and formed into different shapes for dog chews.

What makes Rawhide so tough?

Collagen fibers link to make the animal's hide tough yet flexible. Human skin has the same basic structure but is much thinner.

Where does Rawhide come from?

The quality of rawhide is often related to its country of origin:

American Beef-hide: Corn-fed beef raised in the U.S. supply a thick, palatable and high quality chew. American beef-hide is considered "The Source" of choice for premium chews

Oriental Water-Buffalo: Raised to work in the fields of countries like China, Korea and Thailand, they are a common source of imported rawhide.

South American Range Cows: These animals are fed on grass and typically have little fat and a rough, fibrous consistency. They are warm weather animals with a thinner skin.

How is Rawhide processed?

The animal's hide is transported to processing plants where it is split, washed, and cleaned. The hides are then cut, formed and dried into many varieties of rawhide you see in the stores. In less developed countries a lack of modern roads and refrigeration trucks often requires the use of preservatives to get skins from outer-lying areas to processing plants. In the U.S. fresh beef-hides are refrigerated during shipping to prevent degradation , spoilage, fouling and the need for chemical additives

Will my dog chew such a hard rawhide?

When collagen in the skin dries out, it becomes stiff. As your dog chews, the saliva moistens and softens the rawhide. Foreign rawhide is often sun parched while U.S. beef-hide is oven dried to prevent over drying. Smooth shiny areas on a chew are a sign of heat breakdown indicating an extremely hard area that the dog may not be able to soften.

How can chews help my dog?

Natural tendencies of wild canines and their predecessors was to sink their teeth into their prey and pull away on the hides stripping the skin and meat. Inherent in this feeding processes was the beneficial action of the tugging and pressure on the teeth and gums which served to toughen the gums and clean the teeth for a continuously healthy mouth. Chews offer two valuable benefits to your dog.

Dental BenefitsInfections, kidney and heart disease can result when poor dental health gives bacteria an environment to enter your dog's body. Bacteria in the dog's mouth breaks down food particles and converts them to plaque and excess acid. The plaque can become mineralized to form a hard deposit on the tooth surface called "calculus." The excess acid damages the gums resulting in gingivitis. Unchecked gingivitis results in periodontitis, the leading cause of tooth loss. How do I tell Country of Origin?

Country of Origin is required packaging information. Look closely for indications of imitations of U.S. Beef-hide such as "Made from U.S. Beef-hide in China or Mexico" or "Product of S America." This is a further indication that even the importers recognize the value of U.S. Beef-hide.

What do I need to know about basted rawhide?

Basting ingredients are procured from flavor producing companies that cater to the food industry. USDA and other governmental requirements ensure the quality for U.S. goods. Foreign imported rawhide must use U.S. made basting products or a U.S. approved basted products.

Are basted items non-staining?

Some basted rawhide claims to be non-staining. Generally, the food colors used are water soluble and once wet can run and will most likely stain. Clear Basted American Beef-hide has the flavor your dog wants and is safe for your carpets and upholstery leaving only faint indications of any staining if any at all.

How often should I feed chews?

Rawhide is not a food, but a safe chewable toy that can be, and most often is, consumed. It is 80-85% protein, 10-12% fiber and moisture, and 1-2% fat. High in protein, low in fat, especially compared to pig ears and other pork skin products, and fewer calories per ounce than a typical dog biscuit. One or two hours of daily chewing is sufficient.

Which size and shape should I chose?

Fortunately, chews come in every size and shape imaginable. It is important that the chew be large enough and thick enough that your dog cannot easily chew off and swallow a large piece or the whole chew. Rawhide that requires more than 7 days to chew should be replaced due to dirt and bacteria buildup.

Which dogs should not have chews?

If your dog has gastrointestinal disease or is eating a therapeutic diet, you should seek a veterinarian's approval before feeding any chews. Dogs with beef allergies or that consistently swallow bones whole should probably not receive chews unattended.

Mummy's been buying me rawhide for me to enjoy. They always come in different shapes. The one I love are the braided ball, shoe, mini bone. Now I can eat all 3 (1 design each) in a day, probably I'm too bored. Mummy used to give me 3 a day but only 1 or 2 was touched. But now, life's simply too bored, therefore I eat all 3 within jus a few hours.

Mummy... are there any other rawhides other than milk flavour? Woof~

Mummy's being away for almost a month already. And tml (15th August 2008) is the day that I'm going to get shaved. Mummy said again she doesn't have the chance to see me in Real life for being "naked". Doubt she can bear to see me go "naked" too as she simply loves the fluffy me.

She took quite a few pictures of me using the webcam (therefore the quality is not that good) before I get shaved down again.

Yes! It's the day I'm going to get shaved down. Mummy's kinda excited about it. Grandma was instructed to inform the groomer to leave my tail alone but yet the groomer ignored the instruction and shaved part of my tail's fur away. That made Mummy really angry. What reason did the groomer give? Pattern mah!!!! Mummy's like WAT PATTERN!!! So ugly!!! Now the tail's fur is going to be unbalance. Mummy's really angry about it. But no choice, not done oso done already. She's wondering to shave it all since it's already partly gone. And Mummy said that tail's fur going to take even longer to get it all fluff up. Sob... And the ding dong groomer trimmed those fur on the tail and it look like a BROOM NOW!!!!! Don't know dun anyhow touch mah. Make my mummy so angry!!!! Haiz....

After the shave, I feel kinda cold without all the protection fur of mine, therefore I looked for something which I can lay on. That's the floor mat, which can keeps me abit warmer. *Shivers* Therefore, I appeared "hiding" from the camera which actually I'm laying on the floormat to keep me on. Woof~

~16th - 20th August 2008~

Mummy's been viewing me and I was caught doing the notti acts a few times (licking prohibited places) but she's unable to shout at me or even scold me.. so lalalalala.... Got chance why not! Woof! But she's still very upset about my tail especially when the time she looked at me. Mummy... I'm healthy and good so don't worry. Tail's fur you can always groom back for me. I know it will take time, but no worries ok? I'm getting on well, and you can see my layers of flabby meat.... soon to be filled in. I know I look the lousy quality of Shar Pei... Lol.... Coz Shar Pei the more layers the better it is. But I only have a few layers lah. Woof~

Mummy caught me slping on the bed she bought me, seeing me coil up... cold mah without my furry coat. Woof~ It was too hot to slp on it when I had my coat on, but now I can get all cosy on it when I'm "naked".

Seriously I don't understand why is everyone giving the excuse to give up the dog for being pregnant. If you've intention to get pregnant, DON'T GET A DOG!!!!! Why cant people treat dogs like their baby, their kid? They don't talk, they're are of different species doesn't mean that they don't have feeling and can be given away as and when you like. Why not you try giving your baby away!!!! Why get a dog if you cant commit to them for their life time. Not even your life time. See how badly the dogs are being maintained. They're just like a baby. NOT A TOY!!!! If you wanna get a hang of a dog, go get a Nintendo DS and play NINTENDOGS!!!!! Just like how Serene mentioned in her blog. I TOTALLY AGREE with her.

*~*9th August 2008 - Queensland Royal Show 2008*~*

Mummy's been into Japanese Spitz for quite a long time. And finally there's a chance for her to see Japanese Spitz in show as there's NO ONE showing JS in Singapore. But there's plenty of enquiry from Singapore to Australia asking for a Show dog. That's weird har.

Mummy's been wanting her very own Female Show Quality Spitz. She already thought of the name for her - Winter. I'm Snow aka Shiro, she's Winterine aka Winter. Keke... She really cant wait already and really wanted one. Haiz... She'll search in Australia and find a deal.

She met quite about 4 breeders in Queensland Royal Show, they're showing quite a no. of dogs but it's really hard to see as they do look alike and Mummy's overwhelmed to remember all of them. But what they look like in the cabin waiting and what they look like while they strut in the show ring is totally different. They look extremely gorgeous. And you can you see the difference in the quality. She took quite a no. of pictures and lotsa videos of the show. Though there are not alot alot of JS compare to Cocker Spaniel which took more than an hour for the judge. Mummy & Daddy waited for about 2 hours before the JS's turn. Coz they were told around 3pm should be the JS's turn, and since Daddy's tired, so they got food and drinks n went to get a seat at 2pm. After a long wait, finally it's the JS's turn. Please enjoy the outcome.

Daesdaemar Kennels






There's one by the name - Daesdaemar The Legacy (Patrick), he's 11kg. Slightly bigger than me in bone. He's quite a big bone. And Mummy & Daddy said that he looked really like me, even in character. That makes them really me alot. But that's only when he's off the show ring, when he's in the show ring, he's really serious which I cant be compare with.

Oh yeah! Forget to mention about something! My Mummy don't want me anymore. Juz joking~ She's enjoying herself with a Chihuahua (little girl of Daddy's Sister). Mummy's fostering her for a short period of time until her mummy is free. Here's a short video of her. She's call Narkeasha aka Keasha. Very manja and feminine but very choosy when it comes to food. Different from me as I'm such a greedy pig, whatever is edible for me, I'll eat it. That's provided Mummy allows. I wish to meet her in person. Although I dun play with small dogs as they're really fragile but no harm making another fren.

Mummy's been watching me through the webcam. And grandparents did webcam with her, seeing her on the big tv, her calling me (and me looking out to the door, wondering if it's her.) She was laughing at my actions as she called me, I tilted my head, wondering where she is. Guess I don't know where she is actually. I wish she's back with me already.

Grandma called her, telling her I'm having diarrhoea and was given solution. And I'm given one of my favourite food - Boiled Pumpkin. But grandma steamed it. Still as yummy. And after that, Mummy's unable to log in into the webcam and she's unable to see me. Sob... Hope she will see me soon.
